Road Show Conference Video
Brief:
MadMicrobe was to create an impactful 3-minute video from script to screen, that encapsulates Global Pharma, Boehringer Ingelheim's research pipeline, innovation history as well as its patient-focused approach to curing disease. This video was to be presented at a conference during the summer of 2023, also serving as B.I.'s innovation strategy on the websites, social media as well as other events.
Strategy:
MadMicrobe crafted a script which focused on Boehringer's diverse patient demographic. To create a sense of wonder and excitement, the camera dives deep into the cellular and molecular levels of the patient, continually moving forward and seeking out disorders and diseases throughout various organs and cells. Using Boehringer Ingelheim’s logo and branding colors as a basis, a glowing blue orb, representing B.I.s innovative treatments, touches down upon the dark gnarly surfaces of each malady and transforms the environment into a bright glowing surface. This effect spreads throughout the body as the camera finally pulls back at great speed, eventually revealing a patient’s eye. The venn diagram “flower” which outlines Boehringer Ingelheim’s “patient focused” approach was transformed into an elegant cg flower which blooms to reveal B.I.’s strategy.
Process
MadMicrobe's team of Medical Animators broke down the show into dozens of short shots. Using such tools as Cinema 4D, Houdini and Redshift, particle and glow effects were desgined to be easily applied to spread across each environment. Anatomical, cellular and molecular environments were sculpted to be accurately represented.To ensure consistancy across the video, a clean creamy white surface accented with blue material was created to be used throughout, which is in line with Boehringer's brand style.
